Dispersed throughout St. John's grounds, the installation invites visitors to follow stories of the huge shifts in the lives of Syrian refugees. The physical scattering of the work represents the Syrian people as they are now, completely displaced. The work intends to humanise statistics and reports. It aims to reduce the distance we feel towards victims of crisis by holding up a mirror to our own lives.
